Saw a recommendation on here and have just got back from a great week with Jon at [url= http://rideslovenia.com/ ]Ride Slovenia[/url]. Great house to stay in in nice village of Luce. Got rides in on 7 days, couple of van uplifts and a few trips on local telecabins but otherwise climbs to get to the good trails.
Lots of interesting twisty woodland stuff, some exciting cliff top singletrack and trips up and over one of the local ski resorts into the higher alpine meadows with good views and rocky trails. All guided by Jon who is concerningly fast but very patient and happy to give tuition.
Weather a bit mixed initially but got much better and all of the routes seem to dry out really quickly.

Good food and lovely barbeque on last day, we were very well looked after.

Apologies,just seen link thingy....
We paid £475 (all mountain rather than downhill package), plus flights, we flew from Luton on WIzz air, who were actually OK - was expecting disaster! Beer/coffee/food out pretty cheap - pint of beer in a pub 2ish euro coffee 1 euro and amazing ice creams for 1 euro.
Transfer was less than an hour from Ljubljana (sp?) and think easy jet also fly into there.
