Mountain biking in the Calder Valley - have your say!
We're currently talking to a few folks about potential projects to improve things for off-road cycling in the valley. These could be anything from upgrades to the rights of way network, to adoption of informal trails, to creation of completely new riding facilities.
Needless to say things like this don't happen overnight, and before we start, it would be really useful to have an idea of who's cycling off road in the valley, what sort of stuff they're riding, and what they would like to see happen in the future. There is no up-to-date info on this that we're aware of, so we're starting from scratch.
There's a link to an online survey below - please share around your cycling contacts/Facebook pages/Whatsapp groups, anywhere as long as they're folk who cycle in the Calder Valley. A decent number of responses will really help to create something that we can draw to improve mountain biking in the valley.
As well as drafting a survey that you can fill in online, we'd like to survey riders in person at a few locations, e.g. the square in the centre of Hebden. If you'd like to help with this, just drop me a message.
