My OH has expressed a desire to purchase an e-bike for the road.  The Ribble Hybrid one looks good, as does the similar Boardman (But, Halfords .....).  Has anyone got either of these?

Are you local to Ribble cycles? How about Merlin cycles or Evans offerings?

I don't have any experience of either but I'd buy the one with the largest discount and the one from the nearest physical shop.

Not quite 'local' but I wouldn't mind a trip to Clitheroe.  £500 off at Ribble at the moment.

Mahle batteries seems to die and are not repairable and expensive to replace despite being only 250wh. Quite a few listed on eBay as spares and repairs.

Ordered one for Mrs Pondo and had to cancel as the delivery date just kept being pushed back. Didn't mind waiting a couple of months but she got it through Cycle to Work as it was paid off before it ever got delivered. Check they have stock!
