Anyone have any experience of this bike and Ribble, after a trail/XC 29er started off convinced by the Solaris but so so many reviews comment on it having a hard work/ sluggish nature if not balls out downhill type of riding.

The above looks good value at the £1999 spec....

Other recomendations welcome 130mm max fork.

Thanks in advance

I considered one. I’ve bought from Ribble previously and would again.. went for a Vitus Sentier in the end. Very happy with it and would recommend (albeit 140mm fork).

I looked at these but went with a Ragley Bigwig Race. Amazing bike and spec for similar money and I love it.

Bought from these guys in December https://www.bikeactive.com/ but they are still showing the 10% off offer on the website and may still honour it? Well worth the ££ IMO

I've had/having a disappointing experience with ribble.

Ordered a bike with a date of May. Its then morphed into August not their fault

However they do have similar bikes on their site but can't build me one up to the same spec out of stock parts apparently and have shipped me a lesser spec bike with no warning or agreement or reduction in £

Not overly amusing.

Very
