My old commuter frame died a death last week. I have not heard anything bad about the Ribble frame and my nephew has one and it looks great with full guards.

I looked on their site last week and saw this and thought bob on.

Mudguard and pannier mounts

I commute with a rear pannier and their photo also showed the mounts. Excellent.

So, it turned up on Friday and I started to get a build going on Saturday. First thing the BB needed retapping, so went to my LBS to get that done. Now I have only just noticed that there ISNT any rear pannier mount or mudguard mount.

WTF!

Anyone else have one without these? I have contacted Ribble regarding this. But seriously peeved as now I have to go through the @rse biscuits of sending it back etc.

I did some digging on their website and saw in one of the QAs

I purchased a 45cm winter frame that didn't have rack mounts , will a 48cm come equipped .Thank you

Hi

If the frame does not have rack mounts then it is likely that it is the 7005 Audax's sister frame the 7005 Race which has neither rack mounts nor mudguard eyelets"

There is no option to have this one.  So why are they advertising one option and then sending blinking frames out thats is different.

FUMING!

I know their cheapo carbon (365?) frame used to come in miudgaurd and non-mudgaurd versions. Stronge about their audax frame as I'd have thought that'd be the only reason for purchasing it.

I'm assuming you've actually contactd them?

It could actually be a mistake. You know, those things actually happen.

I've contacted them yes.

Why have two options of frame yet you can only order one option and then its a lottery of which one you get?
