Despite only being an hour away I have never ridden this area. Thinking of doing some exploring tomorrow, is it horrible and unrideable at the moment with our recent weather or is it stony/rocky enough to still be fun.

I'd say most of the trails will be fine but with the occasional chest deep bog just to remind you you're in the Elan valley. 🙂
There's a spot about half a mile before this pic that has been known to swallow people even in the summer. 😉
