A couple of the lads are wanting to go on Friday.

Watched a few videos and it doesn't really grab me.

Not into jump lines, so that rules a big chunk of it out. Looked a lot better before they closed and reopened, cutting all the trees down in the mean time

You know they HAD to cut all the trees down right? They didn't want to.

Revs was the original and best. A downhillers bikepark.

Not been since they reopened but it was always a great place if you like things at the harder end. Quite different to BPW really.

Yeah I thought they did it for laugh 😉

Maybe I've not found the right recent videos, but it all looks a bit rubbish or jumps

They did it because of disease. It wasn't harvested for selling. Wasn't clear from how you wrote it that you knew is all. 👍

some of the DH trails are back open, the jump lines are what people mainly post videos on as they looks cools!

The original Red was a proper D track, ring them and ask what is open, but it is a good visit

not sure which of the trails you've seen that look a bit rubbish, but I can assure you the DH trails are anything but rubbish. Vision and 50:01 jump lines are what make the videos but they're relatively recent additions to what has always been some of the best DH trails around.

It’s a brilliant place and not just jumps, well worth a visit. It also has lots of accessible jumps for all abilities, you never know, you might find some of them rather good fun… 🙂

I went for the first time 2 weeks ago. Youtube is misleading, out of the 8 reds and blacks on the go, only 3 are jump lines. Even then, I'm not great at jumping but still enjoyed practicing on the upper part of red freeride and the lower part is more of a blend trail. The continental line to link back to the rest sucks if you're a scared jumper though. Anyway I did that a bit and then spent the rest of the day on DH lines. Enough drops and rough stuff that I've injured my wrist somehow, despite trying to reign myself in from racing the uplift car down on every run (driver was very good at looking up the hill and waiting for anyone nearly down).

I'd definitely go at least once if you have friends who want to.
