Can I just take the post to anywhere with a Fisher account, and they'll take care of sending it away?
Yes

If it's warranty then you need to send it back to where you bought it from.
your "contract" is with the seller, not Fisher.

Not true. That would be if you were pursuing the retailer via the sales of goods act. The warranty is an entirely different thing.
Any Fisher dealer should send it back for you.For example I brought mine from Germany and returned it via Evan's in woking (who were extremely helpful).

While some companies try to do this, thankfully sram seem to recognise that you mightn't live in the same town/country/hemisphere you did when you bought the product. Otherwise mine would be going back to NZ.
Fisher's are also excellent and very fair in my experience. Sent a set of Pikes to them that shouldn't really have been knackered as they were only 8 months old but I'd hammered them in Finalé. They checked 'em over - was fairly obvious they'd had a hard life, sent them back fixed with updated cartridges all sorted. No charge.
Just had a chat with Fishers as I want to be clear where my responsibilities lie (being a retailer)
Fishers did confirm that you should go through whoever you bought the reverb from.
However, what the chap did also confirm is that they will be happy to do any warranty work, if you get your local Rock Shox retailer to do you a favour and send the item back to Fisher Warranty for you.
(You may want to cover their postage costs)
But note the retailer is not obliged to do this so keep them sweet.
every other thread on here seems to be about reverb warranty issues or problems with them.
Seriously putting me off getting one. Seems a lot of money to stump up for something that doesnt seem to last a year in british conditions?
Waiting for a stealth routed one.
Better be good
