So my lovely Reverb arrived (£165 from bike discount.de , full retail version) and there are lots of er bits that I'm not sure what to do with!

A plastic hose guide? Where does that go?

An anodised aluminium bit that looks like it's somehow related to the seat clamp?

A red rubber cover bit (like a cable end cap)?

Little double - C shaped plastic bits with the C's at 90 degrees to each other ?

Thanks , I know I'm stoopid :-/

A plastic hose guide? Where does that go? On any exposed bottom part of your seat post or frames seat tube to guide the hose.

An anodised aluminium bit that looks like it's somehow related to the seat clamp? Sounds like the black filler bit that fills in the gap in the remote clamp

A red rubber cover bit (like a cable end cap)? Stops crap getting into the hose and helps prevent oil leaking out if you have to disconnect the remote to feed the hose through bits.

Little double - C shaped plastic bits with the C's at 90 degrees to each other ? No idea, could they be for clipping the hose to a brake hose or gear cable?

hose guide - goes around the top of seat tube with a zip tie, guides the hose during compression

Aluminium bit - emergency collar - pop in camelbak in case post mechanism fails and you need to clamp it up (actually called an endure collar I think)

red bit - dunno

dounble c bits - hose clips so you can clip together the reverb hose to a brake hose, though the routing, like along seat tube, near bars etc.

Cheers! I think the double C bits could we'll be to attach the hose to another in the absence of frame guides.

I can't quite figure out how the hose guide fits?! The manual doesn't mention any of these bits!

They call that the "enduro collar", because enduro

It's for limiting the drop - you can clamp it on the upper part so the seat only drops to a certain height.

.. And there's spare hex bolt, smaller than those used in the seat clamp and lever clamp?

red bit - That holds the MMX bolt (the loose hex bolt you mention) in the clamp before fitting - its just packaging.... bin the red bit.
