Hi.

I've just changed to a Reverb Stealth Dropper after using a lever KS Dropper for 2 years.

My KS never had any up and down play but the Reverb seems to compress around 2/3 mm when you sit on it.

Is this normal or is it a case of just a simple bleed to resolve it. The post is fairly new but the connectamig thing has been used twice.

Help much appreciated.

Ian

I just bought an ex demo bike with a reverb. I could bounce the saddle about 10mm like it was air sprung. The shop thought it just needed a bleed but that didn't fix it and it was replaced under warranty. Pleased I noticed before I took delivery.

Mine started doing this after 18months, contacted vendor (in this case Wiggle, who were very helpful), sent it back and got a new one under warranty.

Brill. The joys of buying second hand gear ay.

I'll probably have to get it serviced somewhere.

Ahh sorry, I didn't realise it was second hand. Good luck.

Yep - same happened to my Stealth too - replaced under warranty.

Soon realised the folly of hidden cable routing - might be neater but it's a PITA to sort out when anything goes wrong.
