Hi

Just bought a new reverb...checked the psi and upped it to 250 as per instructions

This is the first dropper post that I have had so my question is areoynd thew difference on the rebound speeds... I turned it fully from one extremes to the other and the rebound extension isn't massively different

Is this normal or does this sound like it needs bleeding as I do need to cut the hose at some point

If it does need bleeding is it just at the rewmote or at seat post as well

Cheers

It should also adjust the speed it drops at so not just rebound. Mines set almost on fastest but I'm only 10.5 stone. Heavier riders might need it set slower. On the slowest it drops very slow and takes a few seconds to go back up. Not bleed one yet so don't know about that but I'm sure someone will know.

It needs a bleed, syringe at either end like avid brakes

Bled it this morning- doesnt seem to be much difference to be honest.

Can live with it as I dotn suspect a really slow rebound speed is any good if it takes seconds

I will have a look online on Youtube to see whether there are any videos of what the difference should be like just in case there is something wrong with mine

Ive found they do vary no matter how much bleeding is done. I have a few reverbs and all are different in their rebound speed when set at full speed on the remote. They vary quite a lot. They definitely need servicing roughly every year (thats with each one has being ridden at least once a week) otherwise play sets in and everything slows down a bit.

Give it a few bleeds, tapping the hose etc to get all the air out. I find that if you even get a few small bubbles out, it makes a huge difference in the speed of the post return.

I like mine to extend as quickly as possible, ideally less than a second.

Last part of bleed should be done with speed adjuster in slowest position (wound out), if its not done this way post will be slow to return.
