has anybody had this and resolved it?

Still just within 2 yr warranty......it is really hard to get it down.....and when it goes it sounds very rough sounding like there is no lubrication.....

Cheers

When did you have it serviced last?

Long shot mate, but had similar on a brand new Reverb Stealth had fitted today. Got bike home, dropped the dropper and it only popped halfway back up and feeling rather rough, balls I thought! Bit of t'Internet research later, turns out seat clamp us too tight, slackened it off a touch and boom, sorted!

Maybe the cold effecting it perhaps?

If it's anything like mine, which judging by the symptoms you describe, it certainly sounds like it, then it's probably in need of a service.

I think it was the lower bushing starting to break down. I can't complain though, 2.5 years old & no service, and mine is one of the supposedly 'unreliable' 30.9 150mm stealth ones.

If it's under warranty still, I would send it back to SRAM & see what they do first.

Mines hard to push down by hand and feels rough, but when I use my body weight on the saddle it feels ok. Is that how they are supposed to be?

If you want something to get it through until a proper service at a later date, just undo the top cap nut/bushing, clean it out and put some fresh suspension grease and fluid in there. Always makes mine feel loads better. That, along with checking air pressure and a bleed makes most feel like new, unless they need warranty work/been used for so long that they need a full service.

Better still get a corporate giant to really their products are sub standard and get a new one posted through....

Win.

Well, until this one breaks and it now out of warranty....

Lose.
