I've got it on and working, and it's ok if a little inboard on the handlebars in the following order

grip-brake lever-shifter-shifter indicator-remote

Anyone got any tips for getting the remote in with the shifters a bit more gracefully, the indicator is right in the way.

Is it just a case of buying some decent shifters?

Does the remote come with an "open" clamp so you dont have to take everything off your bars to fit it if you know what i mean?

either remove indicator window or change your bar setup - where on the brake lever does your braking finger sit? If it isn't at the end then move the brake inboard - it will give you more braking 'power' but also create more space for the Reverb 'actuator' - or lever to everyone else other than Rock Shox's marketing team!

As a suggestion...

Stick it on the left hand side upside down.

Much better position for use in general.

Cheers V10, that's what I've done. Still a pain though. But....it works and it's a cracking fun!

What shifters have you got? You could just remove the indicator window?

If you run you brakes inboard, then unless you have very small/narrow hands or hugely long thumbs, the upside-down solution won't work - I was hoping to do that myself, but due to my sized hands, I don't have room beyond the brake towards the stem that I could reach - having it outside the brake lever then means the lever fowls the shifters so can't sit there (unless I want to push vertically down to adjust the lever/actuator).

Upside down will work find if you run your shifters inboard and put the actuator outboard of the brake lever (but then might get in the way of your hands???

I'd like to run mine upside down but it just won't fit - I can't reach the adjuster if it is inboard and outboard means it fowls my grip on the bars...the shifter body also gets in the way.

Does anyone have any pics of the lever in and upside down position so I can see how others have it?

Just run 1 x9 (10) and put it on the left handside upside down, looks very neat 😀

had my reverb on order but have been told to wait, seems the connection hose to seat post is a little on the weak side and is very easly damaged no spare parts are avilable.

Do people still use the indicator windows on Shifters?

I'll have a look in my spares box chris, might have a left hand shifter without an indicator
