I have just bought a reverb seat post - so I;m new to this dropper post lark.
Having come from a thomson, I am used to it being as rigid as Tom of Finland in a leather shop ...
But once everything is in place, and the saddle tighten up, the nose of the saddle moves about 1mm side to side. Is this normal - or an issue?
It doesn't really affect me cycling TBH - but just feels a bit a skanky
Ignor it, all droppers have some play. You cant feel it when riding and it has no effect on the dropper.
Eventually after a year or two of hard use when you get it serviced they can change the keys that fit between the tube and shaft to a larger size if there is more play.
As Trimix says, a little bit of play is normal in a dropper.
Ok - thanks 8)
I think i was having an OCD moment ...
