If you have the 100mm version, could you be so kind as to measure the distance from the bottom of the bushing 'bulge' in the main tube to the middle of the seat rails please?
Reason i'm asking is that i was a LBS yesterday and measured the 125mm version at 185mm at full extension, i need 160mm max so 125mm minus 25mm equals 160mm - i hope!
I *think* that it's a travel reduction collar that limits it to 100mm as opposed to a shorter post.
I hope I'm corrected though.
It's the overall extended length i'm interested in, if there is a reduction collar then that will be inside the workings and therefore reduce the amount of stanchion exposed, hopefully the distance 'tween bushing and seat rails will be circa 160mm.

I got a 'New' replacement recently and it has a collar in the box. Was not sure what it was for 'till now 😳

Edit, saw your reply, the collar goes on the outer shaft, not inside.
