Hi all, this has probably been done to death but I was trawling the net and can't get the right info:
I re-bled by reverb stealth and got all the air out and then checked pressure of 250psi but there is still a bit of movement (10-15mm) if I press hard on the post when extended.

Is this right as post was on a used bike or do I need to get a seal kit?

Some people got their post send back to SRAM as faulty.

I just want it working. Is this normal?

A common fault.

If it is in warranty (2 years??), then SRAM will replace it, but AFAIK that only applies if you are the original purchaser.

It would need a full service to sort out properly* but can be dodgy to disassemble when sagging like that - the best bet might be to get it serviced professionally, particularly as the full rebuild kit is £50 odd.

*There are possible short-cuts for the non-stealth, but I don't know if they're applicable to the stealth.

Send it back for warranty, i'm on my 5th reverb in 18 months all with the same 10mm sag when i sit on the seat all replaced with a new one from Fishers i think.
I'm not even sure they test them, heard from a bike shop owner that on a visit to fishers he asked about the large bin full of reverbs why they didn't fix them and they said it was cheaper to send out a new one than pay someone to fix them.
