Sorry to ask something that seems to have been covered previously but it is driving my mental and I can't see anything relevant. I took delivery of a Canyon Strive today, it has a right hand reverb remote presumably because the shape shifter leaver is on the left. It has XT ispec, it seems impossible to get the reverb remote, on top of the bar and close to the bar mount for the shifter/brake. It's the spec plate that gets in the way. The obvious thing to do would be to put it on the left and under the bars, as I am now 1x, I could remove the i spec plate which mounts to the clamp and could therefore get it nice and close.
Is is simple not possible to get the reverb remote running along site and i spec handlebar mount or am I missing something completely obvious?
