What's the solution ?
Always had Hope tech where the lever is about 70mm from the grip.
Fitted SLX brakes last night with 9 speed XT shifters .
So I have brake tight to grip > shifter > Reverb.
Lever is to close and reverb is to far away IMO.
Anyone managed reverb under next to grip > shifter > brake?

I'm having same problem, Reverb lever is too far and needs some hand adjustment. A matchmaker clamp for the shifters and brakes might solve but not sure if the Hope one is compatible.

EDIT: I'm running RH remote upside down on the left inboard of the brake and shifters

Go 1 x 9 / 10 / 11 & mount a RH lever upside down on the LH side.

Job done.

Front mechs & shifters just get in the way......

It's not like for like kit but this is what mine looks like if it helps. I had to move the shifter in-board and then slide it out on the mounting runners.

My hard tail is 1x10 so I have it upside down on the left on that. My full suss is 2x10 so it won't fit like that so I have it on the right with Shimano shifters and brakes. I have XTR with the ispec mounts which makes it a lot easier (and tidier) to get how you want. They do ispec for SLX/XT too I believe? The reverb button actually fits in quite nicely with the brakes then as its at the same angle.

I just put the lh shifter further inboard with the reverb remote next to and under the grip and the brake lever between. I don't use the lh shifter much so reaching a bit further for it isn't an issue where as I don't want to readjust to use the reverb.

Shimano brakes + reverb remote = not so kack, mine all fit quite well although I'd prefer a right hand lever to run upside down if anyone is keen to do a swap now ive gone 1x10 and ditched the front shifter. See my thread from a few days ago if so:

Think this is as good as it gets. (for me)
Reverb lever is more or less horizontal

same as wozza. Got the m775 brakes so they have slightly longer levers than the newer m785 so it works fine.
