[Closed] Reverb leaking at remote

Evening folks, my reverb ceased to work today. It’s well outside of its warranty period. It had the symptoms of just needing a bleed but on closer inspection it seems to be leaking oil from under the rubber boot on the remote.

Anyone know if this is an easy fix or a new remote jobbie?

If a new remote is needed, does anyone know where I can get one from?  All the ones for sale seem to be the newer x1 lever upgrade kit and I’d like to weigh up the cost against the original push button type.

Cheers

New remote needed.

The RRP on the older style remote is £140ish iirc.

Crikey, so the new remote is much cheaper it seems? Strange

A new reverb is about £150...!

Aye, they so this it would seem - I'm on my third lever (all under warranty, fortunately).  Completely lost patience with my Reverb Stealth now - run it for 20 ish months and I'll not have had a full 4 weeks trouble free use in that time.

Absolute crap.

On that note - anyone wanna buy a Reverb Stealth...?  (just returned back from SRAM so it'll be alright, for now).

I have a 1x reverb remote (with edge bleed adaptor) that I no longer use. MMX fitment but a clamp from an old reverb remote would fit.

PM me if interested.

Not had to do it myself but it looks very easy and cheap to replace the 4 O rings .

This should help you  Reverb Remote Rebuild
