So a colleague at work has come to me (resident office bike nerd). He's just bought a new bike, has a reverb fitted. he says that when he lifts the bike up by it's saddle, the post - at fully up position, moves up a further couple of inches. If he then sits on the bike, the post moves back down a few inches again and stops. It supports his weight and otherwise operates normally - i.e. goes up and down smoothly.
As I don't have a Reverb, I'm clueless, anyone had this?
Lifting a reverb by the saddle is bad, gets air into places it shouldn't go.
The quick fix below might work, but if not, it's probably a waranty/service job
if it's a new one it should have the bleed button thing at the top, I think it is a saddle off job though.
