I want a dropper for the AM bike... But I have frame holes for in-frame routing for the Reverb/whatever.

Now, I've never seen a reverb in the flesh, so can I remove one end, slip through the frame and then re-bleed etc ?

Would it be easier (I assume so) with a cable operated dropper? If so... who makes a good cable operated dropper ?

This may be a daft one next... but how do you route the cable through to the other end ? luck and guesswork ?

newer Stealth Reverbs have a hose attachment mechanism that means you don't have to rebleed after fitting (assuming hose is the right length).

supposed to be able to remove and refit a few times without bleeding I think.

OOooooo awesome 🙂 I never knew that... thanks for that info. Very useful. Although not sure I can stretch the budget to a stealth version today.

I've got a normal reverb and managed to fit it and trim the hose length without having to do a bleed. As long as you're careful how you manage the hose when the end is open it's fine.

I also have a KS Lev and that's pretty good to and I prefer having th cable attached at the base of the post to the top.

After a bit of head scratching I successfully managed to remove the remote, shorten the hose and thread the hose through my stealth routing on my new Reverb last month.

Take care to follow the bleed instructions to the letter and it's fine.

You should be able to remove either the remote or hose from post end and wiggle cable through the frame without needing to bleed (Reverb).

As far as routing the cable - some frames have inserts within the frame; with my frame (Commencal Meta SX) I used a straightened metal coathanger with string tied on the end which was then tied to the reverb hose. Push coathanger through from headtube hole to seatpost hole, string goes with the end of coathanger, pull hose through with string.
