So my reverb AXS is in need of a service, I see you can buy kits online for £70-80, I'm guess that would put a bike shop service well over the £100 mark.
So how easy is it to home service?
Any specific tools?
200 hrs very easy with just a new seal/foam ring kit and some grease. No specific tools needed, just a vice
I'm looking at the 600hr service....
Can’t help but I’m interested to know the answer. I’m happy to strip a regular Reverb, what difference can the AXS bit make?

They do take the piss with these kits. A few O rings, bushes, a foam ring and a circlip?
includes ifp, sealhead assembly, and topcap assembly; requires oil height tool & ifp height tool
This the bit I'm unsure of - I've always just measured out the oil for forks and droppers etc and stuck the correct amount in....
I'm asking my lbs for a quote on costs. Online it's £115+ for a 600hr service plus 2x postage.
I've found the kit for £55 (I also need new brass keys at £2.99)
Read the service instructions, look at the tools, see if you have anything that works instead
