Just put new polly bushings in my reverb A2 and a bleed 🩸 with the speed set to slowest.
1. How can I speed up the action as it’s ok but not super fast?
2. The top cap does not screw completely down to the top of the post. Bushing is smooth but it’s 3 or 4 threads off being completely down (I did use a spanner to tighten?
Any ideas?
You did remove the old topcap bushing first? The new one pressed in nicely? Apart from that I can't think of what would be stopping the cap from screwing back down fully.
Action may be slow due to a slightly tighter bushing,I've had that when I have replaced mine with poly ones, but they did wear in and become faster.
Hmm, can't think what would cause the top cap not to screw down fully. Wondering if the slow return & the top cap issue are related? Not familiar with the poly bushes you've fitted. I'd have to top cap off again to check that everything is assembled/seated correctly.
