In follow on from the recent Reverb thread I’ve replaced my connectamajig with a barb and rebled  the system.  Good news is that the lever return issue is fixed and it feels much better (hose was linking in seat tube and shorter barb has bought more room).

Bad news is that went to adjust speed (sure I dialled back as slow as possible before bleed) the speed adjuster won’t move.  I don’t want to force it.  Any ideas? (Thankfully the post return speed is acceptable as it is so I can use as is)

I'd just give it a little more wellie but not go too mad! From recollection it is at least a torx bolt so a bit more resistant than a hex. Maybe put a little pressure on it in the other direction too, just to try and break it free.

It is good that you have a)fixed it b)have taken the time to ask about it before doing what 99% of people would do, which is apply brute force! They're a great bit of kit once sorted.

Will have a bit more of a fiddle tomorrow, the torx has never been hard to move when I’ve bled it before which is my concern.

Really frustrating as the lever is now working as I had hoped when I replaced the original button and the barb replacement was a doddle.
