Hi all
Took my 92 Specialised Hardrock round Llandegla yesterday afyternoon, it'll probably be the last time. Every single stone jarred and the steering is so twitchy.

However still "flew" past afew on the climb up though!!

I still ride a hardtail with Revolutions but the difference between that and a fully rigid

Anyone else dabbled with taking their retro/classic out and noticed the difference?

Rode a 92 specialized (note spelling) sworks SS with 1" carbon forks out on Sunday. Very direct/twitchy/unforgiving but huge fun, it is also my unwashed reliable "night riding" bike.

Although as I said never again, apart from commuting into town etc. Can you still buy 1" steerer suspension forks?
