Hi. Just wondering if anybody knows if its possible to retape waterproof shorts in a decent manner and what sort of tape you use / how to apply?
The waterproof taping on my altura shorts has come away from the seams and as a result a wet bum occurs in anything resembling a shower. Are they destined for the skip or can I rescue them??
Any advice appreciated.
Don't these have a 2 year warranty? Are you past that?

Past the 2 years I think. Can't find a receipt anyway.
Heat seal tape - try stormsure heat seal tape or the stick on stuff.
Or send them to someone like rubberman (google) for a repair, or ask them for advice?
There's plenty of stuff about for retaping kayaking drysuits.
