So Steel, clown wheeled,100mm tapered ht,EBB or sliders and not super expensive (£500ish) or I'd just buy a Shand tomorrow.
Or 2nd hand Solaris/Swift and get it modified.
Coming up blank with ideas.

The new Onza frame, forget what it is called?

Canfield Nimble 9

Does it have to be steel? My Trek Superfly ss frameset rides great.

Currently running mine with 100mm Rebas (bought from Swinnertons)

I've had alu ones, carbon ones, ti ones.
I like rusty bikes.
Honzo is wide of the mark but made me think of the Unit (which I've owned 2 of).

Swift is 1 1/8th....could get a 44mm headtube substituted....theoretically.

Didn't Pipedream do something that fitted the bill? I would check but I don't seem to be able to get on their website.

Last FastForward looks awesome! It's designed around a 140mm fork but the BB drop isn't that huge and although the seat tube is steep if you run a layback post the extra 2 deg of steepness (from the shorter fork) shouldn't be a problem.

Just be aware of the required offset in rear wheel.

Stooge? The orginal version went like a fker with a suspension fork, camt remember if andy put a 44 headtube on the mk2 or just the ti version.

El Mariachi is pretty much that, with the swappable drop outs.

Kona Unit. Reynolds 520 tubing, not as posh as some but still rides nice IMO.

You could maybe pick up a full bike for not a lot more than you're looking to spend and sell the rest on.

A fast forward with a 100mm fork would plough a furrow with the bb....so I'm buying one to put my Revelations on 😀
I need a more practical all day bike as well....with no gears.
Latitude and Sherpa are'nt ss able.
If I wanted a Jones...I would'nt buy a Stooge.
There is a brand new unit on the bay....anybody want all the bits for a couple of hundred quid?

Surely you've just described the Salsa? Sounds like exactly what you're after. Plus it's stunning in the flesh.
