Hi, I have an approx 2006 Kona Fire Mountain. My research has lead me to believe that it would have come with SR Suntour XCT 75mm (wow!) forks for a 26" wheel.

Currently the bike just has a set of after market rigid forks that measures 405mm Axle to crown.

I'd like to give this bike a new lease of life as a BMX/Pump track bike and I'd like to replace the forks with something that better resembles the original geometry.

Does anyone know what the axle to crown measurement for the forks I mentioned above would be, approximately?

Also I am likely to be replacing the forks with a set of rigid forks; do I need to account for sag in the axle to crown measurement because obviously rigid forks won't sag. The current forks I am looking at (P2s) come in either approx 445 or 410.

Id go with the 445mm. Firstly i wouldn't worry too much about a few mm either way. Secondly, a quick check of similar forks puts a set of RS SID from 99-08 at 453mm for 80mm travel so take off another 5mm for your 75mm travel then another 15mm for 20% sag and you get 433mm...so yeah, the 445mm
