Hello
I've been using my HT MTB for commuting for a number of years, works really well especially as reliable tubeless as opposed to a road / gravel bike.
I've wanted to replace the front fork for a while but can't seem to find a replacement.
Currently has a 140mm pike on it, tapered steerer 100mm spacing. Is there an obvious non boost fork anyone has used / can recomment? Seems like most 29er forms are 110mm spacing.
Thanks in advance
The standard answer would be something like this, although when I got mine years ago it was only £110. Price has gone up quite a bit.

You'll need to check the A2C height on the Pike & compare it.
Depending on what wheels you have you might find one of the MRP kits would allow you to convert easily to 110x15, which widens the choice.
Unless you ride bling on the commuter, it'll probably work cheaper (and/or easier) to grab a boost wheel and boost fork than sourcing a long enough 100 spaced front
remember sag on the suspension form when working out hte axle to crown.
otherise you coul end up with a massivly long rigid fork.
i have some Bird ones but i dont think they make them any more unfortuately.
bird said they have 'a 505mm A2C which is equivalent to a 160mm 27.5" fork and a 130mm 29" fork at 30% sag' - should give you an idea on what you need on axle to crown lengths depending on yr fork.
you can get spacers for teh disc rotor and hub to run a non boost wheel in a boost fork. i did this for ages. its a bit annoyin g putting the wheel in and out unless you glue the spacers in but it does work
This'd fit the bill:

You'd need a boost front wheel, or just the axle/rotor mount adaptors to make a non-boost wheel boost.
Or, look out for Planet X / Selcof rigid MTB forks, which come up on eBay from time to time.
Just get a boost spacer kit for the wheel then the worlds your oyster (fork wise). Ten quid tops to solve a simple compatibility issue…
+1 for the boost front wheel kit, I have two sets of boost forks but no boost wheels. Apart from a minor bit of extra faff when replacing wheels, they are no bother at all
A sonder pathfinder is 500mm iirc and that's around 100-120 suspensionish. It's boost though so you'd need an adapter
I have some bird ones in the spares box of your anywhere near Southampton or Chichester.
Exotic's carbon fork is ime really good, I was happy to hammer mine and I'm pretty sure Scotroutes is still using it. Not super light and quite flexy but I trusted it. I got a much fancier, lighter, stiffer carbon fork after it and I never did trust it- though obviously trust is weird and largely not based on actual facts...
I found another nonboost one fairly easily last year, though it was QR, but I'm not sure if you can get them new any more. Seems the sort of thing that half of STW will have in their shed?
Boost converting a 15mm wheel is cheap and easy though.
Planet x were doing the selcof for ~99 recently.
