whats your thoughts on a Talon 29er 1 2014 , would mean adding around £85 to the replacement price.
not to trust insurance companies, I got told I get 24% of wheelies, then I get told no its off bike replacement which is wheelies without the reduced 2013 model prices. finally pick a bike a talon 1 29er which is £899 on bike replacement website. wheelies now tell me I only get 24% of the difference in price on what im allowed in my claim and not the price on the website. what a farce.
I hate wheeleis. I've had to experience them 3 times unfortunately.. Each time they have cocked up. I complained to my insurance company, who finally settled with cash.
Recently I purchased a mounting kit from them, they failed to put my address on the packet properly, even though they confirmed in an email what adress they had. Thus the item got lost in the post.
Bunch of muppets.
From the thread title I thought you'd bought a new bike and couldn't wheelie it...
yup, will be phoning insurance co tomorrow and demanding cash settlement, the worse thing is I could off had a cash settlement but they told me I can get 24% discount from wheelies which I thought was great. how wrong was I !!
had a brand new road bike (entry level Cannondale) into my workshop on Wednesday from a customer of wheelies
the build he received, was a f*cking joke to be honest
took my mechanic a good 45 minutes to put it right and safe to BS6102 standards 🙁
we charged the customer £30 for labour.
any ideas off which bike to get? I only have around £700? only ride mainly trails. was thinking of a cube acid 29er 2013 for only £639
Mate of mine has just had a bike on the cycle to work scheme from wheelies , he lives in an apartment block and wheelies just addressed it to the apartment block , without a name or apartment number , four attempted deliveries later he got his bike , wheelies = pile of sh*te !!
cash settlement sorted.
Well done, I was just going to warn you not to get involved with them.
They seem reasonably efficient when you're sorting out your replacement bike, but any warranty issues and they'll hang you out to dry.
Terrible company.
I recently got a Cannondale Synapse 105 Disc from Wheelies via their Cycle to Work scheme.
It was all very efficient, the bike was well packaged and correctly set up.
I was pretty impressed with the service tbh
when I had bike stolen, wheelies hadn't even heard of two of the brands, Ins Co gave me cash instead
