After many years of (surprisingly) good service, my chinese cree lights have developed a dodgy connection at the connector end, so I am planning to replace the connector and the cable. Does anyone know where I can get these Jack plugs from? They are slightly different from standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm dc power plugs, which are also not waterproof.

grab one of the extender leads you can get, then chop and solder the cable. they were all over ebay etc. last time i looked at one for a mate.

Though likely I would be replacing a dodgy connector with another dodgy connector- was hoping to find something better quality.
