The rubber strap which did a decent job of keeping the quite heavy 1600 halfords light pointing the right way has broken.
Halfords own helmet strap gets a poor review - has anyone sourced a good alternative that screws into the mounting point? (vertically up from the helmet as opposed to side on like a go-pro.

Hope do a QR lever for their lights that fit this...remove strap and replace with QR, stops the light vibrating around.
Hopefully make it easy to mount...
