hi all,

I need some new bearings for my headset. I have contacted Commencal, 18 Euros including shipping for these:

http://www.commencal-store.co.uk/PBSCProduct.asp?ItmID=19925558

however, I assume that these are not made by Commencal so can I buy them elsewhere?

If so, can anyone recommend a place to buy them, or does 18 Euro seem like a good price and I should just go with the manufacturers standard?

Sorry if this is a basic question and I should know better at 42 years old 🙂

Thanks as ever

I recently got some for my road bike from Edge Sports. Took the old ones out, found a part number and Googled it.
They were about a tenner, can't comment on the longevity as i fitted them 2 days ago, feel ok when fresh though!
A lot cheaper than from the OEM.

For the sake of maybe a fiver, I think I'd just go with the €18. The time you'd spend searching is worth more than that.
