Anyone any idea on who in the UK repairs Gravity Droppers?
I've had problems with it from nigh on Day 1 and it's languished in my garage for the last few months. When it works it's ace, but sadly this only seems to last for a matter of hours. I've had dialogue with CRC and it's been back to the States twice but this costs money every time. I've played around with the settings as recommended on the GD website to no avail, although I'm first to admit I'm not technically competent. The cable is slightly boogered as in the photo, but it is very slight so difficult to say if it is affecting the mechanism. Any thoughts, beyond commenting on ineptitude?!

I had issues with mine along the same lines and grumbled away to anyone that would listen for ages...
...Until I opened it up and realised how simple a mechanism it is. Clean it all, grease the telescopic bit, undo the two screws that hold the catch mechanism on and make sure it's running freely when you press the handlebar lever (the kink you show shouldn't be effecting it). Re-fit catch and again make sure catch still runs through post. You then twiddle the sleeve at the top of the post to line up the holes and Bob's your Uncle. You need to do this regularly though as there are pretty much no seals.

I found any kink affected the working you might need a new cable. One thing to check which you may not think about is one I got told and it worked. Just undo the cover of the remote and then redo up really lightly it seemed any more tightly done up and its affected the performance
do away with the remote switch and replace it with the switch on the post?
No cable to damage then...
