Broke the clutch lever on my SLX rear mech the other day through ham-fistedness while out on the trails (though it did seem to give out rather easily).
Later on it kept getting stuck in 1st gear but I wasn't sure if it was debris in the mech or some consequence of breaking the lever.
Any repairs, bodges, just get on with it, or no please no, buy a new one?
Could you not remove all the clutch gubbins and use it non clutch?
Pretty easy to swap parts from a mech with something else broken. They are quite fragile so maybe someone has a broken one in a drawer. Or just take the spring out and run it clutchless. Its not that critical unless really hammer it on the rough stuff and font have a NW chainring
If it's just the lever, use some pliers to get it into the on position and leave it there. It'll take a bit more force to get wheels out/in, but that's it.
