Has anyone got a technique for removing the sealant through the valve stem (with the core removed) to check how much is left and it's condition?
Years of bike hacking/bodging/fettling/fiddling and I don't have a solution to this...
Can't think there is one that's going to be less hassle than the 30s it takes to pop a bead off the rim and have a look into the tyre.
Yes. Buy a Milkit kit and use their valves and syringe.
You can check quantity with a dip-stick.
I use an old spoke.

Never had to remove it, give wheel a shake, if it sounds low, top it up.
I use the Stans Injector syringe to put the sealant in through the valve with the core removed. Take most of in out the same way.
Deflate the tyre, spin the wheel until the valve is at the bottom, depress the tyre so it’s flat on the floor, suck the sealant out with the syringe.
Gets most of it out which can be reused if it still looks OK.
