Hi All

I'm trying to remove the lowers on the above fork to do an oil change.

I've took the nuts off the legs and the rebound adjuster knob and have loosened the air side leg but the damper side is proving tricky.

I have a 10mm socket that I have been using to help hit the nut with (put back on a few turns) but its not shifting.

How hard to I have to hit it or is there something else I need to loosen?

Thanks all

Danny B

Hit it hard with the socket on the nut. Requires some decent force.

Thanks - have been braver with the Clarkson and it is not off.

Bloody glad I did. New forks and all but having read stories of Fox not filling them properly to begin with, people dying whilst out on trails etc thought I'd check them.

Two dribbles worth of oil came out - no way 20ml from each. I've ridden them twice.

Probably would have been a void warranty had any damage occurred to stanchions etc as no doubt somewhere says that this should be checked by the consumer before riding...

Cheers
