WD40 worked on generic tape sticky when flash and 100% IPA didn't

Angle grinder will get rid in seconds. Might leave a few scratches or rub marks.

Don't use acetone.

IPA, wd40 (and then clean it off) or citrus label remover.

With IPA I find it best to hold a soaked rag on the residue for a few seconds.

Meths but it will slightly dull the paint.

3M do a citrus based spray (black label blue writing) Far better than all that stuff listed above.

Oil should be used for breaking down the sticky stuff.

Nothing appart from Acetone even touched mine (apparenly 3M stuff but arrived in an unlabled box) and even then had to wrap the frame in a rag and soak it off.

Quick polish with T-cut and a decent car wax afterwards to bring the shine back to the paintwork.

If all else fails, car clay will shift just about anything, just bin it afterwards.

Same as TINAS, I've not finished yet but the bit I've done doesn't seem to have done the paint any harm.
