i have just bought some replacement deacls for my mavic deemax wheels but before i make a start is there an easy way to remove the old ones?

And then use acetone (most nail varnish removers) to remove any residue and clean it up for the new stickers.

...and when you put them on use a weak solution of washing up liquid. It allows you to move the sticker about and put it EXACTLY where you want it - then allow to dry. Got that tip from a mate who did it for a living before anyone questions it !

You will need:

-1 chisel
-a 500ml bottle of your own urine
-a copy of the Sunday times
-some wire wool
-a 5lb lump hammer
-2 bungee cords
-a dremel

Use the listed items in whatever fashion you like to try and remove the stickers then prepare a “Whoops I’ve buggered my expensive wheelset” post…

WD40 removes and softens the stickiness

White spirit or lighter fluid.
This lifts the glue from the previous sticker.
Job done.
