Has anyone figured out a reliable way of removing the decals from On One's bikes - specifically the latest black ones with white logos/writing like the TikTik, Hello Dave, Whippet etc.

Or the new scandal.

I don't mind my bike saying on one but I wanted a stealth black frame.

I think the stickers have been lacquered over.

I was thinking sharpie

Eventually it will be super raw

They’re all under the clearcoat aren’t they? Mine always have been.

I've got a new black Scandal, and these two things work for now: Matt black vinyl sheet, and Halfords ultra matt black camo spray. I taped up around the stickers after a quick white spirit wipe and light brush with wet and dry sandpaper, and a few coats (only 15min needed between coats), and it looks alright. The spray is slightly more matt than the frame but i'm happy enough. Can't cope with white stickers on black.

Vinyl sheet is OK, but because the tube shapes are rarely round, it didn't work as well on most of the frame.

Can't think of any reason you'd want to remove them!

Given they're painted with the coating from Smarties, you won't have that long to wait until they're gone...
