Can't imagine it's very common but on my XC bike I need a remote lockout lever (cable not hydro) for the right hand side and under the bars. It's single speed so no gear shifter. The left side has a Reverb dropper lever so can't even use a fancy double lever thing.

I currently use a cheap over the bar lever but it's annoying to use.

Can you not get a LHS over bar lever and reverse it?

What Mert said, it’s what I did with my old Reverb when I couldn’t afford a left hand remote.

SRAM twistloc would work for you on the LH side. It seems like it would be annoying to use, but if anything, its position means that it's easier to use than an underbar lever. Obviously it's aimed at setups where you pull cable to lock, but it would still work the other way around, just with the button to lock and twist to unlock.

Ah can see replies now. Thanks. Yes it's a pull to lock setup I need.

Worth looking at, wasn't expecting to like mine. The only downside is if you don't get on with the supplied grip, it can be a bit of a faff/bodge to find something suitable with the lock-on collar in the right spot (bar-end).

I see there are 2 different versions. One at about £30 and one at £120.

Front mech 2/3 speed shimano shifters work well. A 10 speed right shifter would give lots of variation

joking aside it would probably be really good
