Looks like it's back, with a wee change of name and a rather special promo video.

So is it not branded Caterham anymore?!

Either the bloke in that vid has never ridden a bike before, or that thing is a bit of a handful. He's all over the place!

Lever angle
Chain tension
Seat height
Body position

Everything is wrong with that!

Just watched the video.
Wow.

They didn't actually post that to advertise that thing did they, surely??

That looks to me like the bike has still not progressed beyond mock-up

Rear suspension clearly doesn’t work
Front sus looks like an Old Girvin with shrouds stuck to the sides
Absolutely no sign of the electric assist working

No doubt we will see it on a crowdfunding site very soon.

Massive front disc barely tickled by tiny calliper.

About the most unconvincing ad I've seen.

Looks like one of those plastic toy ride on motorbikes for kids, but blown up.

I quite like it.

Sure, the rider looks like he's never seen a bike before. The front disc rotor is way over the top.

But $7k is about £5k. 34kg for an electric fat bike sounds reasonable. Looks "unique".

Edit: I'm mixing pounds with kilos. It's a heavy overpriced beast, best avoided.

The first video has a kind of stop motion feeling effect to it, or as though it was filmed in reverse.

I also like the carbon sticker slapped on the aluminium swingarm.

I also like the carbon sticker slapped on the aluminium swingarm.

It looks quite photoshopped

The frames per second were massively sped up in most riding segments.

What a terrible and on all accounts.

And the bike looks total tosh

The manual is a gold mine as well:

Your CARBON SUV E-BIKE is very big and long which is what make it cool and unique.

In windy conditions, especially lateral wind, due the great dimension of the bike, wind
action can be very effective and deviate the bike from its line or induct shacking vibration.
Please take note and be ready to prevent and take the necessary action to keep the bike in
its line and reduce the speed to under 15 km/h ( 9 mile/h).

It seems to involve a lot of standing still, looking at the mountains. I presume wishing there was enough power in the battery to get the bloody thing anywhere near them let alone up them.

My knees are sore just looking at it.

That weight must put it close to one of those electric trials bikes - you know, those ones that actually work.

Is the seat height adjustable, or do you knees have to stick out ?

It is adjustable, but it won't look "cool and unique" anymore.
