I have the option of buying a HV monarch RT3 at a very good price. I have a zesty 2012 and understand they need a low volume can. Can I add enough volume spacers to a monarch RT3 in order to make it work with a zesty?

If you fit all the rockshox volume bands (red elastic band things, available from most bike shops or online) into the outer sleeve of the air can you will basically have the low volume air can. This also allows you to take some bands out if you wanted to make the shock less progressive, if you find it ramps up to much and won't reach full travel.

Yep, it's a doodle. Did it recently.

Forgot to leave an extra one on the outside though. Doh! A pain as it's on a Marin quad which is a pain to remove the shock from.
