Just had a 10mm spacer put into my Fox Float 140mm to reduce the travel to 130mm. Should the overall length of the fork have been reduced as a result? That was the plan, as I found the 140 mm a bit "noodley" when climbing. I have just measured the stantions and it's still 140mm. Any idea STW?

Did you measure the stanchions before lowering them? Fox would have around 150mm exposed for a 140mm fork iirc

I didn't measure them to be fair - schoolboy error.

Anyone else ?

I ride a Yeti ASR 5, if that helps at all, but don't see why it should.

Yes, travel reducers in Fox forks shorten the overall length of the fork when it is fully extended.
They make no difference to the fully compressed length.
