.... on a rigid bike.

Frame is designed around a 468mm AtoC fork which it is currently.

Possibly looking at swapping this foe a 453mm fork.

Head angle will steepen but will this be noticeable?

Frame is an old school XC/do it all 29er with a HA of 71 and a SA of 73 with the 468mm fork.

Will it all end in tears, flames, with baby robins being atomised.

Seat angle will also steepen and BB will drop.

I am presuming it will be a negligible change.

For the first 10 minutes, then you will be used to it and forget what it was ever like before. You will probably notice the 15mm bar drop though unless you are adding 15mm of spaces?

Have a play on this...

https://bikegeo.muha.cc/

Im using 470mm forks on my rigid 29er (Scandal). Cant say felt the need for lower a2c which begs question, why?

Thanks all.

@Nuke - I'll have a play with that. The why aspect is that I'm going to be adding a 29 plus front wheel that increase bar height, slacken HA etc albeit only by a bit. The shorter AtoC fork is one I have and should counter the wheel but it may not always be running that wheel.

This couple with a short rider is my attempt to keep things manageable!

Bookmarked that site @nuke thanks. Have been looking for a site that tells you how much an extra 17mm of atoc will affect everything else.
