Just having a nosy around on Strava Segment Explore and it looks like there is some Singletrack and 'DH' trails around Redford (as in the Redford in the South Downs, East of the Rogate DH stuff).
Anyone ridden there? What's there? Worth going for an explore?
A kind soul from this Parish took me on a ride round there, nothing tech really (he was on a Surly singlespeed, me on a Nukeproof mega!)

Thanks scaled, that route doesn't go through the exact area which has caught my eye. It looks like it's called woolbeding Common on ze map. But I'm sure there must be other stuff in this area, there is enough woodland!

It's a little cheeky, and likely to be busy with walkers due to the stunning views from there. It is nice enough though and best done as part of a longer xc loop linking up all the commons nearby. Best appreciated at dawn.
edit - it's not DH, just a descent.
Home for me is Rogate, but I can't confess to being all that familiar with the immediate area! Done a couple of night rides recently and found a whole network or trails in variable condition up in there, not really managed to make a sensible route out of it though.
I'm away for a couple of weeks but when I'm back I'll send you a message to see you we can cobble something together!
