As above , how good are these forks ? Thinking of going to les arcs and wondered if they could handle light DH . I'm more xc really

If they are Recon Gold TK (turnkey) they are not up to doing much more than gentle XC riding, they get over faced very quickly on repeated hits, there is no midstroke support and the rebound adjuster cannot cope once you go faster/rougher
I recently got a brand new bike with Recon gold TK forks, and sent the forks straight to SRAM Tech centre to have a Motion Control DNA compression damper and Rapid Recovery rebound damper installed. this effectively turns them into Revelation forks....and they work properly when things get steep and lumpy!
