[Closed] Recon 29r fork not locking out when locked out.

got some recon 29r forks.
when they are locked out, there is still some movement in them when the front is weighted.
how can i fix this?

You can't. As they have a blow off.

I can ask Neil.

Is this on your Inbred 29er?

Was it a complete bike?

Ton, that's correct behaviour. Forks don't lock solid any more. 🙂
It's a hydraulic not a physical lock and if they didn't move you'd blow them to bits inside. The floodgate adjuster alters the point at which they 'blow off' or 'open up', i.e. on a bigger or smaller hit. Set near or at minimum it's more like a pedal platofrm, set towards max and it's more like a lock out.
