People of STW, I'm heading to Seahouses in Northumberland for a family holiday tomorrow.

Although I will be predominantly doing dutiful dad stuff most of the week, I reckon I can sneak a 2-3 hr ride in at some stage.

So... I was hoping that one of you wonderful people could recommend me a ride within 45 mins drive of Seahouses that is 10-20 miles long and will put a smile on my face and a welcome break from the kids. A GPX link would be helpful.

Cheers

If you head to Wooler there`s easy accessible bridleways that will keep you entertained for the required time/distance.
And it should be reasonably quiet too...

It's a little further inland on the very Eastern fringes of the Cheviot Hills ..sorry but I don't think you specified road or mtb ...this is definitely the latter ..

I'm sharing my #OffRoadBiking trip with you. Total distance 23.3 km, http://my.viewranger.com/track/details/MzU0Mzg0Mg== . Via @ViewRanger..

Hope you enjoy if you do decide to do it ..

We are actually heading up to Torridon tomorrow ( we heard you were coming ..lol) or I would have shown you around .

Cheers for the advice, I’ll have a look online & get something loaded onto my Garmin.

Most definitely MTB by the way!

somewhat related to this - how can I save this route in Viewranger? I have an account with OS maps but I can't see any obvious 'save' option apart from a heart button but no way to see which routes I have 'hearted'.
