Probably going to need to give a better idea on budget as people's ''massive amounts' will vary a lot.

Ive been very happy with my Ravemen 2400 which i got off Amazon last autumn:

I know you said Amazon, but if you have a Halfords nearby (with one in stock) I have the older 1600 lumen version of this, which is pretty decent for the price. Mount isn't great mind.

£83 too much? Half price, but you know you're getting reliable quality with Niterider lights

Were you hoping for something more like this 5000Lm burn your house down model? Joking aside, most ppl avoid these due to the complete lie of Lm output, the numerous bad clone copies, and the potentially dodgy battery. Seems most have been remove from Amazon, for good reason

I've got one of those Amazon ones ^^ from yonks ago - probably about an 800lm model. Which used to be enough for night riding, but obviously we all go twice the speed and the nights are much darker than in those days 🙂 It still works anyway, and the battery never blew up. The rubber band that holds it to the bars/headband isn't that great though and there's no doubt an integrated battery is better. Although, on your helmet, the Amazon light weighs nothing if you don't mind a lead hanging down to the battery.

There's always this:  . https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073YM8Y8N   - get 2 of em for your money and turn the night into day !!

I really rate this, I use it as my only road bike light for fast hilly road rides and is great for cross & MTB. Great build quality and usb c charging. nice even beam pattern with no hot spot areas. How long will your ride be? I'm happy flipping between medium and high on this with high only need for real tech sections. It's got way way more output than you think from it's size!

I have actually stopped using my fairly expensive Moon Adjust and currently use a version of this:-

Can’t vouch for the exact one in the link as mine came from AliExpress, from a link here, Kimbers I think. The lengthways orientation means it’s really solid on the bars. It doesn’t have many features but works well for me.
